This Australian waterfall print captures the dramatic scale of Ellenborough Falls, one of Australia’s tallest waterfalls, set within the forested landscape of regional New South Wales.
While staying in Port Macquarie, I travelled inland through winding country roads and subtropical rainforest to reach this elevated lookout. From there, the landscape opens across a vast valley as the waterfall plunges into the gorge below.
I chose a vertical composition to emphasize the height of Ellenborough Falls while retaining the surrounding valley and open sky. The format makes this photograph particularly suitable for executive offices, reception areas, boardrooms, meeting spaces and home offices.
Careful post-production in Lightroom refined the tones and detail while preserving the natural atmosphere of the landscape. The finished image has a calm yet powerful presence, combining scale, depth and a strong sense of Australian place.
