Sydney Lockdown

Have been documenting the Sydney lockdown due to the growing COVID-19 Delta Variant.

New South Wales has recorded its highest daily increase in COVID cases to date since the start of the lockdown.

A couple of weeks ago the construction industry came to a standstill as new restrictions were imposed.

As a result I decided  to have a look around the construction site at Barangaroo, waiting for a blue sky day.

This photo of the Barangaroo construction site worked particularly well for several reasons.

– Not having any people in the photo gave a feeling of spatial isolation.

– The variety of colours seemed to compliment each other.

– The architecture in the background with the really interesting graphic shapes and the parallel lines especially on the Crown Towers Building.

The front entrance of  Crown Sydney, in Barangaroo Reserve is also a great example of this feature.

The Barangaroo construction site empty due to new restrictions imposed on the construction industry due to COVID.
