When you come across silhouette figures against a red backdrop art installation, it certainly makes an interesting photo.
It was Vivid and I found this photo recently when going through my archive. The opportunity to get something a bit different was more than welcomed.
Sometimes when covering an event or simply walking around the streets with a camera, you do not always know what you are going to get until you see that moment.
I love the work of Jay Maisel especially his book ” Light, Gesture and Color”.
The mysterious woman photographing her friend against the red background totally inspired me.
There was no time to check my camera settings as the moment would have been lost.
The location was Circular Quay, packed with locals and tourists.
