Perfect Resize 7 Pro from on onOne Software

Perfect Resize 7 Pro is really an updated version of a program called Genuine Fractals. The algorithms from Genuine Fractals have been now added to Perfect Resize 7 Pro. What does this mean for the average consumer and photographer ? The ability to increase your images up to ten times their original size without any interpolation involved or loss of quality. For the pro photographer this is a great marketing tool to offer a corporate company the ability to print an image up to 1.8 metres tall. The consumer can hugely increase the print size and quality of all their precious images. Imagine the potential now with the i Phone 5 8-megapixel camera. The Bondi Icebergs picture below which I have recently added to my archive of stock photography was taken on a Canon D3 3.5 megapixel camera back in 2002. It is now resized to the same file size as my Canon 5D Mark 11. The ironic thing is that back in 2002 one of the images from this set was published in Conde´Nast Traveller  from the original file size. Most magazines and designers would have never considered publishing any image from a digital camera at that time. Slide film was really only accepted especially by Conde´ Nast Traveller. So how did it get published ? I gave the set of the Bondi Icebergs pictures to a photo agency in London. The timing was right, and the picture editor happened to be looking for a particular image which suited their brief. So the moral to this story is that  although we have the ability now to produce large files and massive prints if a buyer is looking for a particular image and it is good enough then it will get licensed and published.
