Sydney Dust Storm

I took this photograph at the North Sydney Olympic pool and the dust gave a very strong exagerated sepia tone to the image. The red dust was blown in from the Australian Desert Outback and clogged the skies over Australia’s largest city. Such thick red dust is a rarity over Sydney, making it a great opportunity to photograph. I used my Canon 1 D Mark 11 which has never let me down over the years, very tightly sealed so no dust problems.
