My journey as a photographer began in London, where I specialized in black and white 35mm film for various newspapers, magazines, and PR companies as a freelancer. I\u2019ve always believed that black and white photography captures a timeless and classic atmosphere, making the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney the ideal subject for this art form.<\/div>\n

Constructed in the late 19th century, this heritage-listed building is a stunning example of Victorian-era design and craftsmanship. Its intricate details, ornate facades, and grand interiors evoke a profound sense of history and nostalgia.<\/p>\n

In this piece, I focused on capturing the Great Australian Clock, located at the northern end of the building, framed by the elegant ceiling arches above and the intricate marble floor patterns below. To achieve the perfect composition, I leaned over the balcony, as using a tripod was not an option. The interplay of light and shadow was beautifully highlighted in black and white, thanks to the large skylights and expansive atrium, enhancing the architectural details throughout the scene.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Each print is carefully produced to ensure a high-quality finish. Production typically takes 2 to 5 business days.<\/p>\n

Standard shipping within Australia generally takes 6 to 9 business days after production.<\/p>\n

International standard shipping varies by destination and typically takes 5 to 21 business days after production.<\/p>\n

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier and local postal conditions.<\/p>\n

1. Enhanced Matte Paper<\/strong>
\nA best-selling choice for premium art prints. The smooth matte surface reduces glare while enhancing highlights, tones and detail for a crisp, gallery-quality finish.
\nPlease note: this option is supplied as an unframed print.<\/p>\n

2. Hahnem\u00fchle Photo Rag 308 gsm Fine Art Paper<\/strong>
\nArchival pigment inks create smooth tonal transitions, rich colour depth and lasting vibrancy, offering exceptional longevity and archival-quality reproduction.
\nPlease note: this option is supplied as an unframed print.<\/p>\n

3. Classic Framed Art Print<\/strong>
\nDelivered ready to hang. Printed on Enhanced Matte Art Paper and framed with Perspex glaze, with the option of a 50 mm (2 inch) white mount border for a more traditional gallery-style presentation.
\nAvailable with or without a mount, in natural timber or white frame finishes. Other classic frame colours are available on request.<\/p>\n

4. Stretched Cotton Canvas \u2013 38 mm<\/strong>
\nEach canvas is made to order, hand-stretched and carefully tensioned over a purpose-built 38 mm frame crafted from European kiln-dried knotless pine. The image is finished with a mirror-wrapped edge, extending the outer areas of the photograph around the sides of the canvas for a seamless presentation.
\nPlease note: hanging fittings are not included.<\/p>\n

\nEach print is custom-made to order and carefully produced either locally in Australia or through one of our trusted international production locations, depending on the customer\u2019s location, to ensure a high-quality finish. As each piece is made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.<\/p>\n

Damaged Prints:<\/strong>
\nIf your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact me within 5 days of delivery. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue and clear photographs showing the damage. I will review the details and arrange an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement at no additional cost.<\/p>\n
