Camp Cove has to be one of the best harbour beaches in Sydney.<\/p>\n

With spectacular views of the Sydney CBD in the distance, the late afternoon golden hour is one of the best times to capture great light.<\/p>\n

I wanted to capture the golden hues <\/a>from the sun in contrast to the moreton bay fig tree in shadow.<\/p>\n

It was also good to be able to include in the frame the Sydney cityscape through the branches.<\/p>\n

Post processing tweaks in Lightroom involved split toning.<\/p>\n

This allowed me to add a little bit more warmth to the highlights.<\/p>\n

The great thing is split toning allows you to do this with a subtle amount.<\/p>\n
