I found out about it from a media release sent direct to me from the developers. Portrait Pro 15 is made by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anthropics.com\">Anthropics Technology<\/a>, a software research and development company based in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The reason why I am so impressed with Portrait Pro 15 is because for the first time I have found the retouching results to be much more natural with over all skin textures. The amount of times I have used other portrait retouching software and not managed to maintain a natural look has cost me hours of time having to retouch in Photoshop. Once you run Portrait Pro through your desired portrait, the default settings come into action and work their magic on the individual skin blemishes, wrinkles and shine etc. These adjustments can be further improved or reduced with the portrait improving sliders which I have so far not needed to use.<\/p>\n<p>There are also reshaping controls, make up controls and you can even change the lighting on the portrait after the photographic assignment. I have yet to try these out. I did use Portrait Pro&#8217;s touch up brush which allowed me to further remove skin blemishes and spots. Once the portrait was exported from Portrait Pro, I launched Photoshop just to add minor adjustments in under 5 minutes with the brush tool and the healing brush. Probably saved about 25 minutes in retouching time! This will be an invaluable tool for my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paullovelace.photography\/index\/G0000_.X2P8rFMoQ\">corporate photography business <\/a>and I look forward to doing some more reviews on the other features it has. The portrait example I selected was of a fashion model backstage at Australian Fashion Week one year. The before shot shows shine from my speed light and also some minor skin blemishes on the models forehead.
