Although I have not used my I Phone with Hipstamatic, Instagram or any other I Phone App for marketing my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paullovelacephotography.com\/\">Photography Business<\/a>, I can see why I should use it. My conclusion is that, of course, it is another tool in the marketing &amp; distribution process for photographers for posting images to social network sites. In turn, this drives more traffic to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paullovelacephotography.com\/gallery-list\">My Archive<\/a>&nbsp;of images shot on my high resolution DSLR.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, as<a href=\"http:\/\/www.photoshelter.com\/\"> Photoshelter<\/a>&nbsp;Co-Founder Allen Murabayashi points out, you are also creating a consumer based audience which is huge. Dan Heller&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/danheller.blogspot.com.au\/\">Blog Post<\/a>&nbsp;, on the total size of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.danheller.com\/blog\/posts\/total-size-of-licensing-market.html\"> photo licensing market<\/a>&nbsp;, made me also realise this. Coming from a traditional pro photography background, I was always convinced that the only buyers of images were from the old style traditional print\/news media companies.This is certainly not the case.<\/p>\n<p>I am also a strong advocate of utilising all the creative techniques that are now at our disposal to enhance an image to achieve the desired effect, whether it is<a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/au\/products\/photoshop.html\"> Photoshop,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ononesoftware.com\/products\/suite\/\">Perfect Photo Suite 6 <\/a>or simply an I Phone&nbsp;App. The <a href=\"http:\/\/paullovelace.photoshelter.com\/gallery\/Architectural-Photography\/G0000YuNTOv9OhCk\/\">Bennelong Apartments <\/a>below was enhanced with Perfect Effects from Photo Suite 6.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paullovelaceblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Bennelong-Apartments-Sydney1.jpg\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"266\" src=\"http:\/\/www.paullovelaceblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Bennelong-Apartments-Sydney1-300x200.jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A recent article on the Photoshelter Blog&nbsp;&#8221; why instagram is terrible for photographers and why you should use it&#8221;, got my attention.
