It is one thing being found online to do a shoot and be booked for the assignment but when you find out the client you are working for is Google its even better. Thats what happened to me when I was booked to cover an event for Google Australia several months ago.<\/p>\n

As part of the Mardi Gras celebrations Google had teamed up with\u00a0Twenty 10 and Australian singer\/songwriter Toby Martin to create Australia\u2019s biggest musical collaboration at Victoria Park, Sydney. The crowd-sourced collaboration created a love song celebrating that love is stronger than hate.<\/p>\n

My role was to capture the event and supply images that told the story on the day.<\/a><\/div>\n
The shot list included photographing the Google booth, Google representatives working in the booth, punters contributing lyrics, a range of shots capturing\u00a0Toby Martin, shots capturing the crowd enjoying the fair day, people engaging with one another as well as the live performance at the end.<\/div>\n
When documenting such an event I know that I will be shooting constantly for about 3 hours and will end up having to do a huge edit at the end in Lightroom.<\/div>\n
The photo opportunities were everywhere I turned and the Google Australia team were a pleasure to work with.<\/div>\n
