I came across an interesting story in the Daily Mail Australia online<\/a>\u00a0the other day.\u00a0It was about a mysterious 110 tonne silver platform hanging from a $2 billion luxury apartment block. Its actually a steel heliostat, a device used to reflect\u00a0sunlight to another area. It was designed by One Central Park award-winning architect Jean Nouvel.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail the massive heliostat has been described as a NASA experiment or even a giant projector by curious onlookers.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t believe it, I had photographed One Central Park, Chippendale, Sydney, about 6 weeks ago to update my stock photography archive<\/a> and here was\u00a0his great feature. Because of corporate shoots for clients and all the post production work involved, I had not yet key worded these images and submitted\u00a0them for online licensing.<\/p>\n

This residential vertical garden building<\/a> has been named best tall building in the world in 2014. I managed to get the perfect light to illuminate and bring to life the vertical gardens designed by artist and botanist Patrick Blanc. Whilst there I also photographed the Old Kent Brewery and the The University of Technology.<\/p>\n
