Capturing empty open spaces during the Sydney lockdown had many advantages.<\/p>\n

The most significant one to me was that it created a unique look of urban calmness.<\/p>\n

One perfect example for this is the black and white photo below of Liberty Place.<\/a><\/p>\n

Normally this location is a lively, busy commercial precinct in the middle of the Sydney CBD.<\/p>\n

Just out of frame from the photo is the ANZ Tower Building.<\/p>\n

It is the largest office building in NSW to achieve a 6 star green star – office design V2 rating, by the Green Building Council of Australia.<\/p>\n

Arriving mid afternoon, strong highlights appeared and lightened up certain areas of this precinct.<\/p>\n

The contrast with the rest of the space in shadow had to be captured.<\/p>\n

Converting\u00a0this image to black & white further enhanced the lighting effect and overall setting.<\/p>\n
