Have been experimenting with multiple exposures during lockdown.<\/p>\n

The Bennelong \u00a0Apartments<\/a>\u00a0 below produced an interesting result.<\/p>\n

It is always good to get something different when producing fine art prints.<\/p>\n

This technique of multiple or double exposures, has been around since the very early days of photography.<\/p>\n

Back in the film days this was fairly straightforward.<\/p>\n

The shutter could be activated many times without having to wind the film on.<\/p>\n

The effect below was created in-camera with the multi exposure function on the Canon 5D Mark 111.<\/p>\n

A similar result can also\u00a0be achieved in Photoshop.<\/p>\n

If done correctly the effect creates an impressionistic result.<\/p>\n

The photo of the Bennelong Apartments, known as the Toaster Building was taken from a moving ferry leaving Circular Quay.<\/p>\n

The combination of movement and 4 multi exposures produced this result.<\/p>\n

Contrasting colours, and exaggerated abstract geometric shapes worked well for this building.<\/p>\n

Looking forward to producing similar wall art prints.<\/p>\n
