Northern Trading Post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are passing through Laguna at the entrance to the Hunter Valley, then a visit to the Great Northern Trading Post is well worth it.<\/p>\n<p>It is also known as the Laguna Wine Bar.<\/p>\n<p>They do great coffee, have a nice selection of homemade cakes and pastries, fresh food, and sell great local wine from Wollombi.<\/p>\n<p>Photographing this timeless location provided endless opportunities, with the old corrugated houses on the property and their classic tin roofs.<\/p>\n<p>One in particular had an old <a href=\"https:\/\/paullovelace.photoshelter.com\/gallery-image\/Hunter-Valley\/G0000EzfgJaeQ1QQ\/I0000DhWbD0bDw.M\">rainwater tank <\/a>outside, quite a rare find these days.<\/p>\n<p>A desaturated look to the photos, added more character, and a moody feel to the corrugated tin roof houses.<\/p>\n<p>This involved a combination of adjusting saturation, vibrance, and using the tone curve panel in Lightroom.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1035\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 1570px\"><a
