I’m incredibly fortunate to live in Sydney, Australia—an astonishingly beautiful city known for its stunning harbour views and breathtaking sunsets. Residing in the Eastern Suburbs, one of my favorite spots to soak in the scenery is Dudley Page Reserve in Dover Heights, just a quick five-minute drive from Bondi Beach. This popular viewpoint attracts tourists and locals alike, making it a perfect place to experience the incredible vistas of the harbour and CBD.
One memorable evening, after wrapping up a corporate shoot, I hurried home to take my adorable border collie, Ollie, for a walk. As I drove back from a nearby dog park, I was struck by the brilliant orange hues of a sunset beginning to emerge. Realizing that I had only five minutes to capture this fleeting moment, I quickly parked the car, grabbed my camera gear and Ollie, and rushed to the lookout.
Time was of the essence; I had to work quickly to seize this unique opportunity. Although setting up my tripod took a moment, I was determined to achieve the highest quality image for a large canvas print while minimizing any potential motion blur in the low light. Once I secured my camera to the tripod, adjusted the settings to manual mode, and peered through the viewfinder, I was left in awe.
In that perfect moment, I witnessed a couple proposing against the backdrop of the sunset, while an airplane gracefully flew beneath the glowing sky and the iconic Sydney skyline. It felt as if everything had come together perfectly, and I knew I had captured an extraordinary scene that would forever remind me of that magical evening.

There are 5 ways to print these images.
1) Museum Quality Archival Matte Paper. The 250gsm paper is perfect for fine art prints and is designed to last for years. Please note this is a print only and does not come in a frame.
2) Stretched Canvas Prints which have approximately a 1.6″/4cm thick wood stretcher bar. Hanging hardware is included for easy installation. The canvas texture a blend of cotton and polyester enhances the image’s natural look and feel, creating a truly immersive art experience.
3) Acrylic Prints. Acrylic prints add depth and impact to any artwork. Built to last these are lightweight, shatterproof, and temperature-resistant, making them easy to mount on your wall. The crystal clear acrylic prints are approximately 0.15″/4mm thick and feature straight-cut corners for a sleek modern finish. Hanging hardware and screws are included for easy installation.
4) Aluminum Metal Prints. Visually striking, polished, and built-to-last-aluminum prints are designed with superior quality and a clean finish. Create a polished addition to any home or office. These aluminum prints come in a thickness of approximately 0.2″/3mm, providing a sturdy and rigid base and including a hanging kit.
5) Premium Wooden Oak Framed Prints with Museum Quality Matte Paper. Frames come in 3 colours, natural wood, black and white, and are ready to be hung directly on the wall. A plexiglass material provides a flawless protective layer for the print. The frame has a 0.79″/ 20mm thickness and width.
