The timing was perfect as the late afternoon sunlight bathed Bennelong Apartments, also known as the Toaster Building, in a radiant golden glow along Circular Quay in Sydney. On a corporate assignment, I made my way to the third-floor balcony at the Museum of Contemporary Art. As I set up my tripod, I noticed the building illuminated in a rich, golden light. In the next few moments, I captured around 10 frames, but this one stood out as the most captivating. The warm light not only enhanced the building’s facade but also brought out a beautiful depth and texture, making the colors more vibrant and saturated. The scene was a truly memorable capture of Sydney’s iconic architecture.
