Recently I got a Flashwave 111 Studio Strobe/Portable Flash Slave Radio 16 Channel Kit. The kit was half price compared to Pocket Wizards. Flashwave cover about 80 meters range and for my purposes that is more than I require. The real test came last week when I had to shoot 100 portraits for a corporate client.
Flashwave worked perfectly with my Multiblitz strobes and what was more impressive was the fact that I could also use my Canon 580 EX11 speedlights as well and all devices worked perfectly in sync with each other.
