Last week I got the Gary Fong Lightsphere Collapsible and I have to say it is brilliant. One of the points Gary mentions is that because the diffuser is clear the light is not reduced unlike the diffusers that have a white dye compound in them which blocks out the light. You can also shoot vertical or horizontal without having to add a flash bracket. This is so convenient when shooting events. The colour temperature is also much more constant and gives a great diffused soft light. I am convinced that I could achieve a very similar result below of some portraits I did of Penny Lancaster a few years ago with my Multiblitz Lights.
