James Dyson, the British inventor and industrial designer was in Sydney to launch the Dyson Airblade Dryer and I was there to cover the event for a corporate client. The challenge for me was to get a strong portrait of James as well as capture the general event and photograph a variety of products on display. Interior shots were also required showing the interior fit outs of the air blade dryers on display in the Sydney Theatre Company. I settled for the portrait below of James with his strong shadow on the background which I felt added some character to the image and what a nice guy he is!
