Camp Cove has to be one of the best harbour beaches in Sydney.
With spectacular views of the Sydney CBD in the distance, the late afternoon golden hour is one of the best times to capture great light.
I wanted to capture the golden hues from the sun in contrast to the moreton bay fig tree in shadow.
It was also good to be able to include in the frame the Sydney cityscape through the branches.
Post processing tweaks in Lightroom involved split toning.
This allowed me to add a little bit more warmth to the highlights.
The great thing is split toning allows you to do this with a subtle amount.
