Jacaranda Trees in Full Bloom Sydney

Recently I have heard a lot about the amazing number of tourists heading to a street in Kirribilli on Sydney’s north shore to see jacaranda trees in full bloom. Apart from photographing the jacaranda trees and the street, capturing tourists taking photos on their smartphones and selfies added to the whole story. I wanted to really capture the emotions and joy on their faces that these vibrant purple colours bring. For residents it has caused traffic chaos as cars try to pass through with all the tourists taking photos in the middle of Mc Dougall Street.

Most of my photos were taken on my canon 80-200 mm F2.8 L series lens. No doubt thousands of these smartphone photos along with selfies will be posted onto Facebook, Instagramed and Tweeted along with a few of mine.
