Thought it would be interesting to discuss my experience of having my photos found in Google Images search by using Photoshelter to power my website as well as a WordPress .ORG Blog. I was prompted to write this post from an article I read on Shutter Muse. I decided it was time to update my image archive gallery by adding detailed information such as President Bill Clinton’s Sydney visit. I was amazed to see that a portrait I did of Bill Clinton back in 1996 making a speech was one of the second shots to come up in Google Images under the sub domain paullovelace.photoshelter.com. Once I clicked on this link it brought me straight to my Photoshelter gallery. To further test out my photos being found I wanted to see how my WordPress Blog would perform. So I did a Google Images search and typed in David Bowie Portrait Sydney and my portrait of David during the Reality Tour came up as the first photo and because I had published the portrait on WordPress blog my actual domain name link paullovelace.photography came up straight away. For more information on this subject go to Shutter Muse, would thoroughly recommend reading it.
