A blanket of orange smoke over Christison Park, Watsons Bay, Sydney

Early evening last Thursday an apocalyptic orange sky covered Christison Park, Watsons Bay . I have never seen anything like it so close to the ocean. I also managed to get a shot of the Macquarie Lighthouse surrounded by darkening sky from smoke and ash. These images were all processed in lightroom with no post processing effects added or lense filters. Because the wind was so strong I had to use a minimum shutter speed of  1/250 to avoid camera movement. Its terrible that so many have lost their homes in these bush fires and what an amazing job the firefighters are doing in NSW.
